The name Cardia comes from the Greek word kardía (καρδία), meaning heart - a fitting foundation for a practice centred around caring for not only the heart, but the person as a whole.

At CARDIA, we offer a comprehensive and compassionate approach to cardiovascular care, spanning prevention, investigation, diagnosis and personalised management through to complex diagnostic and interventional procedures. Our experienced team bring decades of combined expertise across general, preventative and subspecialised cardiology.

What sets CARDIA apart is our commitment to a boutique, patient-centred experience. We believe exceptional cardiac care is not only about advanced medicine and expertise, but also taking the time to listen, explain and educate. Our goal is for every patient to genuinely understand their heart health, feel confident in their care, and be empowered to make informed decisions about their long-term wellbeing.

Comprehensive cardiology. Preventative focus. Subspecialist expertise.
Personalised care.

A cardiac risk assessment evaluates your risk of developing heart disease by looking at factors such as blood pressure, cholesterol, lifestyle, family history and other relevant health information. It helps identify potential risks early and guide personalised strategies to protect and improve long-term heart health.

Cardiac Risk Assessment

Stress testing is a non-invasive test used to assess how the heart responds to exercise or increased workload. It can help identify reduced blood flow to the heart, abnormal heart rhythms, or other heart problems that may not be apparent when the heart is at rest.

Stress Tests

Echocardiography (an “echo”) is a non-invasive ultrasound test that creates detailed images of the heart. It assesses the heart’s structure and function, including how well it pumps, heart valvular function, and blood flow through the heart.

Echocardiography

Cardiac monitoring involves using a device to continuously or intermittently record your heart rhythm, usually over a period of days to weeks. It can help detect abnormal heart rhythms, investigate symptoms such as palpitations or dizziness, and assess how your heart varies over time.
