Patient Information

You will need a current referral from your General Practitioner or Specialist before your consultation.

A GP referral will be current for 12 months and a Specialist referral for 3 months. The length of each appointment depends on what is required and the complexity of the consultation. Typically consultations range between 15 to 45 minutes.

Referrals: Please note that you are required to bring a new referral from your GP or specialist once the initial referral period has lapsed (3 or 12 months) – this still applies even if your cardiologist requested that you return for review.  This is required by Medicare in order to process your rebate or bulk bill claim, if applicable.
